Apron with a sewn-on pocket from the Dutch brand Wolkat. Made of used, discarded clothing donated by consumers in the Netherlands. Wolkat controls the entire process, from collection, sorting and recycling to spinning and weaving – all under one roof. No water, paint or chemicals are used in the textile recycling process. Wolkat shreds and converts these textiles into pure fibres, which are then sent to their own spinning mill in Morocco. At the spinning mill, the yarn is spun in various thicknesses and qualities. It is used to make products such as this apron, which consists of 52% recycled textiles and 48% recycled PET.
