Backpack made from corn waste, PLA material derived from cornstarch. With a closing tape. PLA is 100% biodegradable, 100% compostable and CO2 neutral. To make a type of plastic (PLA) from corn, corn kernels are mixed with sulfur dioxide in hot water, so that all the ingredients in this mixture are redeveloped into starch, protein and fiber. Yarn is produced from the fibers, and a bag can be made from it. The visual “bio bag compostable – made of corn” is printed on the bag as standard.
